Afew years ago, I dined in a famous Chinese fast-food chain. I ordered their bola-bola congee and the next day, I got this terrible bleeding in my stools. I was down for days and laboratory tests found salmonella in my stomach. I had to take the terribly-tasting Metronidazole tablet for 10 days just to cure it. I listed all the foods I ate and everything could only point to the unusually cold congee in that resto. (more…)
